Established in 1945. Awarded for the best and most comprehensive exhibit of Civil War stamps, covers or both. Until 1992, this award could only be won once by an Society member. Beginning in 1993, a Society member is eligible to win the award once every five years. - President’s Trophy
Established in 1962. Awarded by the Trustees for the best exhibit of Civil War stamps, covers, or both to an Society member that has not previously won an Society exhibit award. - Civil War Philatelic Society Trustees’ Research Trophy
Established in 1983 as the Trustees’ Trophy, awarded for the best one frame exhibit. Renamed the Confederate Stamp Alliance Trustee’s Research Trophy in 2010 and subsequently renamed the Civil War Philatelic Society Trustee’s Research Trophy in 2020. Awarded for the best exhibit of any number of frames, which illustrates new knowledge or understanding of Civil War stamps, covers or postal history, or an extension to existing knowledge. - John H. Reagan, Confederate Postmaster General Award
Established in 1979 as the David Kohn Memorial Award. Renamed the John H. Reagan Award in 1994 in memory of David Kohn, Harry McDowell and J. V. Nielsen, Jr. Awarded for the best exhibit of Confederate postmasters’ provisionals. - The Generals Award
Established in 1982 as the A. Earl Weatherly Memorial Award. Renamed the Generals Award in 2003. Awarded at the discretion of the judges. - Jack E. Molesworth Award
Established in 1954 this is awarded for the best exhibit of off-cover Confederate stamps. The exhibit need not consist exclusively of stamps. - Robert A. Siegel Memorial Award

The Trustees’ Trophy was originally created in 1983, and was awarded for the best one frame exhibit. Renamed the Confederate Stamp Alliance Trustee’s Research Trophy in 2010 and subsequently renamed the Civil War Philatelic Society Trustee’s Research Trophy in 2020. Awarded for the best exhibit of any number of frames, which illustrates new knowledge or understanding of Confederate stamps, covers or postal history, or an extension to existing knowledge.
